The Joffrey Concert Group is excited to present the ICONS Dance Festival, an annual event that celebrates the rich tapestry of dance institutions in the New York metropolitan area. The festival was inspired by the success of the Joffrey Concert Group and Friends performance series, which has previously showcased remarkable talents like Le Jeune Ballet from Blue Ash, Ohio.
In the upcoming season, we are thrilled to welcome Limón2 who will be sharing the stage with us at Manhattan Movement And Arts Center. The ICONS Dance Festival aims to connect not-for-profit dance institutions in NYC, create educational opportunities, and foster a sense of community among young pre-professional dancers.
MASTER CLASS SERIES
To provide valuable learning experiences for young, aspiring dancers, we are offering Master Classes, taught by the Artistic Directors of the Joffrey Concert Group and Limón Dance Company.
This educational component will allow students ages 14-25 to learn from influential dance companies and for the dancers in each company to learn from each other, offering everyone a unique opportunity to engage with different dance techniques and styles.
Register for one or both Master Classes. Dancers who register for both classes will receive a FREE ticket to the 3PM matinee.
