Educational and Outreach Programs

The Joffrey Concert Group and the Joffrey Ballet Center are committed to expanding access to professional dance education, mentorship, and performance experiences. Through Joffrey Pathways: The Joffrey Experience, young dancers from underserved communities participate in free workshops, study with Joffrey faculty and company artists, and engage with professional repertory. The Gunnison Orchestral and Dance Summer Residency brings dancers and musicians together for an immersive period of interdisciplinary training, creative collaboration, and performance. In addition, lecture demonstrations introduce students and community audiences to dance technique, choreography, repertory, and the athletic and artistic demands of a professional career, combining live performance with conversation and audience engagement.
